Improved environmental balance in industrial production through the use of Openair-Plasma®

Tightening climate change regulations in different countries or groups of countries are creating new hurdles for the industry. Many manufacturers still use traditional pre-treatment methods such as primer or flame treatment in production. However, these solvent-based processes release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful to both the planet and public health. Enter Openair-Plasma® technology, a state-of-the-art alternative for surface treatment of e.g. plastics.

By using Openair-Plasma®, manufacturers can modify surfaces so that adhesives and coatings adhere without chemical primers, and all without CO2 emissions. In this PlasmaTalk, Dr. Alexander Knospe, Head of Innovation Management and Patents, will explain how Openair-Plasma® can significantly improve environmental sustainability. He will provide insights into the CO2 and VOC emissions of various processes and outline effective strategies for minimizing them.

Discover with us:

  • How Openair-Plasma® works and changes surface properties
  • Solvent-free pretreatment options for a wide range of materials
  • Cost benefits of efficient and environmentally friendly production methods
  • Looking to the future: What is possible with plasma treatment?

This no-charge PlasmaTalk is aimed at research, development, and quality control personnel as well as designers, process engineers and operators of production equipment in industrial processes.

Don't miss out! Reserve your seat today and start optimizing your semiconductor processes with the power of Openair-Plasma® technology.

The PlasmaTalk will last approximately 40-60 minutes and will include a question and answer session. If you have a specific question, please send it in advance to academy@plasmatreat.com so that we can include it in the program. Please note that due to our international audience, we will be using UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Please check your time zone using the TimeCalc calculator below.
