News: Plasma technology revolutionizes surface treatment processes in various industries
Also, for the Plasmatreat subsidiaries the exhibition year 2024 will start soon: Plasmatreat Italia will be available to customers and interested visitors at Mecspe in Bologna. From March 6 to 8, the company will present its reliable, automated and inline surface treatment processes for activation, cleaning and coating in Hall 30, Stand E66. The innovative atmospheric pressure plasma processes Openair-Plasma and PlasmaPlus not only ensure maximum effectiveness, but also make treatment processes more efficient and environmentally friendly. In Bologna, visitors will be able to learn more about the possibilities of plasma treatment for EV batteries and other automotive and electronics applications prior to subsequent processes such as bonding, painting, printing or sealing.
What visitors can expect at Stand E66 in Hall 30:
Plasmatreat Italia will give visitors the opportunity to see plasma live. A robotic and automated Janome system will be on shown on the show. Using this system and their extensive plasma and surface treatment knowledge, the plasma experts will demonstrate and explain the activation and cleaning of surfaces with Openair-Plasma, e.g. for various battery applications or electronic components. Pre-treatment of prismatic, cylindrical or pouch cells, optimization of electrical insulation, cell-to-cell bonding, structural bonding of a battery module, cleaning of battery houses and much more are industrially proven applications of plasma technology. Besides this, the company has also validated various applications in electronics, semiconductors and powertrain technology.
