A special focus in industrial processes is the gluing and printing of already finished folding cartons (with UV varnish or film lamination): Modern folding cartons are printed, finished and folded in sheets or rolls before being glued on high-performance gluing machines.

Glued areas or areas that can be printed individually (e.g. for filling or expiration dates) must either be elaborately cut out in the finishing step or prepared for gluing/printing by mechanical methods such as milling, sanding or brushing.

Join our PlasmaTalk on 18.06.2024 and find out how the integration of Openair-Plasma® significantly simplifies this process. Bas Buser, consultant at Plasmatreat GmbH, will also show you how this innovative technology ensures high process reliability and reproducibility of the treatment for subsequent batches. You can look forward to a comprehensive insight into the possibilities of plasma technology.

The free PlasmaTalk is aimed at employees in research, development and quality control, as well as design engineers, process engineers and production plant operators in industrial processes. PlasmaTalk lasts 40-60 minutes and includes a Q&A session. Do you have specific questions? Please send them in advance to academy@plasmatreat.com so we can include them in the program.
